Human Rights House Zagreb and Office of the Ombudswoman, in cooperation with the Human Rights House Foundation, are jointly organizing a discussion on the implementation of the 3rd Cycle Recommendations of the UN Universal Periodic Review (UPR).
Discussion will be held on October 19, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in online format.
The aim of the discussion is to increase the visibility of the Universal Periodic Review as an international mechanism for the protection of human rights and to improve cross-sectoral cooperation and dialogue between state institutions and civil society organizations related to the implementation of UPR recommendations at the national level.

The discussion envisages the participation of representatives of national institutions important for the implementation of UPR recommendations, representatives of civil society organizations and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Croatia and at the United Nations in Geneva.
Simultaneous translation into English will be provided during the discussion.
