We invite you to join us <strong>LIVE<\/strong> on the first day of the conference which is held on <strong>Wednesday, April 27, 2022<\/strong> at Novinarski dom, Perkov\u010deva ul. 2,&nbsp; starting at 10 am. The conference will be broadcast live on social networks of the Human Rights House: https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/kucaljudskihprava and via Zoom link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference will present the annual report &#8220;Human Rights in Croatia: Overview of 2021&#8221; which provides an overview of the most important issues, challenges and open issues that negatively affected the protection and promotion of human rights in Croatia last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the first day, two panel discussions will be held. In the first panel \u201cReview and Discussion on the Situation of Human Rights and the Rule of Law in Croatia\u201d, participants will be: <strong>Tena \u0160imonovi\u0107 Einwalter<\/strong>, Ombudswoman of the Republic of Croatia, <strong>\u0110ur\u0111ica Klancir<\/strong>, journalist, <strong>Ivan Bla\u017eevi\u0107<\/strong>, Solidarna Foundation &#8211; Foundation for Human Rights and Solidarity, and <strong>Ivan Novosel<\/strong>, Director of programs of the Human Rights House Zagreb. The discussion is moderated by <strong>Ana Krolo Molnar<\/strong>, journalist. The second panel discussion &#8220;Suppression of the spread of fake news&#8221; will bring together <strong>Stanislav Bender<\/strong> from the Agency for Electronic Media, <strong>Dra\u017een Hoffman<\/strong> from Gong and <strong>Viktorija Car<\/strong> and <strong>Milica Vu\u010dkovi\u0107<\/strong> from the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb.
